INGREDIENTS

2 lbs boneless country style pork ribs
1/2 quart cider vinegar
1/6 Tbsp salt
1/1 Tbsp cayenne pepper
1/1 Tbsp red pepper flakes
1/4 cup molasses or
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

DIRECTIONS

Give a vinegar-based sauce a try with these hearty ribs. Serve with hush puppies, corn on the cob, baked beans, and your favorite cornbread.

Preparation
Combine vinegar, salt, cayenne, red pepper flakes and molasses in a bowl, reserve half the sauce in a medium container and store in the refrigerator until cooking time.
Add remaining sauce to ribs in a large glass bowl or glass pan, and marinate for at least 4 hours in refrigerator. Remove ribs and discard used marinade.

Method
Pre-heat grill to Medium (300F – 375F degrees)
Cook ribs with indirect heat and grill hood closed.
Cook and turn only occasionally, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until pork is very tender.
Baste ribs twice with reserved sauce mixture during last 30 minutes of grilling.
Serve remaining sauce with ribs
