INGREDIENTS
4 lbs chicken wings (about 24 wings)
1 c. cider vinegar
2 T. vegetable oil
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 T. chili powder
1 t. red pepper flakes
1 T. hot sauce
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Preparation
Remove wings from packaging and rinse in tepid water, dry with paper towels.
Cut each chicken wing at joints to make three pieces. Discard tips.
Place the chicken wings in a large plastic storage bag
Combine vinegar, oil, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper and hot sauce and pour into the bag with wings.Seal the bag tightly and turn the bag gently to distribute the marinade. Refrigerate the wings for several hours, turning and rubbing the wings every hour.
Method
Preheat the grill to Medium High (350F – 450F degrees
Remove the wings from the plastic bag and pat them dry, discard the marinade.
Place the wings on the grate and grill- using t0ongs to turn to prevent burning and to ensure even cooking.
Serve with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks if desired.
