INGREDIENTS

1 whole chicken 4+ lbs
1 +6 cans of favorite beer
favorite spices to rub on chicken

DIRECTIONS

This is a seriously funny description of a popular method of cooking chicken. You can purchase different devices that take the place of the beer can, which you fill with liquids that flavor the chicken while keeping it moist.

Preparation
Take whole chicken and wash thoroughly-pat dry with paper towels.
Rub favorite spices on outside of chicken.

Method
Fire up grill and wait until hot.
Take a full can of beer, opened, and place the chicken over the can of beer and then set upon the grill configured for indirect heat
(TIP: Adjust so the can is up the bird's cavity. It should look like chicken is sitting straight up.)
As chicken is cooking, the beer will heat and be absorbed into the meat.
It's done when meat begins to fall off bone and/or the temperature reading of an instant read thermometer inserted into the thick part of the thigh or breast reads 165F degrees.
While chicken is cooking, drink remaining cans of beer if desired.
