12 oz. regular Dr. Pepper 1 cup tomato ketchup 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp smoked paprika 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Hot Dr. Pepper is served at the headquarters of this soft drink company during the winter months. I like to drink the cold variety when I grill and I started adding to some home-made sauces a few years ago. Use this as a side sauce, glaze or dipping sauce for ribs, chicken and all manner of pork!Makes about 3 cupsMethodCombine Dr. Pepper, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire and hot pepper sauce in sauce pan on your side burner and bring to just below a boil. Stirring the liquid gently sprinkle in and mix the dry Ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer.Brush on as a mop, glaze or use as a dipping sauce.
