YIELD: 2 cups PREP TIME: 20 Minutes
1 cup prepared mustard (I recommend stone ground, dark or Dijon style for better taste) 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (or lemonade) 1/2 cup minced sweet onions 1/4 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 2 Tbsp vegetable oil 1 tsp celery seed 1 tsp coarse salt 1 tsp dry ginger
If you like mustard - this may be a good sauce to try on pork. It's tangy and sweet. MethodHeat the oil in a medium-size nonreactive saucepan over medium heatAdd the onions and sauté until translucent, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add the rest of the ngredients, and blend them well.Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
