Cast Iron Grill Smoker Box

Cast Iron Grill Smoker Box

Model #3784804

Add wood chips into this smoker box to add real smoke flavor to any cookout. It slowly vents smoke while preventing the wood from catching on fire.

Cast Iron Grill Smoker Box is rated 2.3333 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from not a smoker Unfortunately I have not found the right heat to make this smoker work. It usually smokes a little, then busts into flames. I have used less heat, then get very little smoke. It may work well for others, but not for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work We have tried to use our new iron smoke box. But theres no smoke coming out, not even after 15 minutes. Now we have taken the wood pieces out directly at the grates, and it started to smoke. We don't see the idea in a box that doesn't work.. We could have done something wrong, but then it's the danish instructions that is wrong?

just bought a model 463432215 grill and wanted to buy a smoke box for it but don't know which would work. There is approx. 4.5" between each of the diffuser deflectors so it has to be bigger than that.

When using the smoker box, should the wood chips be soaked?   If so, for how long. Also, how often should the chips be swapped out during smoking? Thanks!

Asked by: templeowls89
Wood chips do not need to be soaked. However, if you would like to soak them before use, we recommend about thirty minutes before your cook. How long they last will be determined by cooking temperatures. Depending on the duration of the cook, more may need to be added.
