Information Regarding Use Of Aluminum Foil On Gas Grills

Do not cover grates with aluminum foil or any other material. This will block burner ventilation and create a potentially dangerous condition resulting in property damage and/or personal injury.

    Char-Broil TRU-Infrared Grill2Go X200 - Model 12401734 is rated 4.4889 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good unit for it's size and design I like this table top model because I've used many others of the same type and this one works best. The price, on sale, was a good value. Most other makes aren't as well designed and cost lot more, like Weber. This unit also gives a good and spacious cook surface. The only issue is it is hard to get the temperature low enough on for cooking slow or baking. My solution is to prop open the lid to regulate the temp. If you had an adjustable vent or a way to safely open the lid up to 1 to 4 inches it would be perfect. All in all a very nice unit-- it could be the best one available with a few small changes..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Infrared works I've had this grill2go x200 for a year now and it works great. Easy to set up, uses large 20 lb gas bottle, lasts forever. Infrared heats to 650F and sears everything perfectly. Crisp outside, juicy inside. Very portable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could of been a 5 Star Review This portable grill could of scored a 5 star if the the temp on grill wouldn't go up to 600 degrees even on the low setting.. This could be a Great grill if they could fix this problem!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best grill I have ever owned I have bought grill for the patio about every 5 years but I have bought one for camping almost every year. Both were complicated to set up and didn't really work that well. The Char-Broil TRU-infrared Grill2Go has taken the place of both. There are a very few parts and they are easily replaceable and with two quick snaps of the buckles, it it ready to go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best on the market out there!!!! I bought this just about a 10 month ago for our 3 week trip around the 4 states of Arizona, New mexico, Utha & Colorado. Used it every night of the trip. I am also just about out somewhere every weekend camping. I take it everywhere with me. I am told by everybody who uses it that they are going to buy one as it cooks very well in little time at all. I love this little BBQ & even use it at home when it is just me. I think my home BBQ doesn't like me any more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little grill Love the grill but the value is poor. I bought the hose to hook to a tank and was using it that way; when I left for my RV trip I desided to use the little tanks. The value woulded shut off. I had to go buy a 5lb tank and hook the hose back up so I could shut the gas off at the tank. The value doesn't regulate the flame eityher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a great grill. I have just went on a three week camping trip and we used it every day. I wish I had bought this earlier, I was buying 1 to 2 cheap ones a season but I don't think I will have to buy another on for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice grill I bought the grill to take in our RV, but liked it so much that I now use it at home. Heats up quick and holds the juices well. Just for your information. I had previously bought a grill pad and it works very well in this grill. Holds in the juices even more. Also I won't mention the well know brand of grill that I have used since 1988 and still have the larger model. Thanks again Walter Floyd Overall, very pleased with new grill

My RV has an external propane connection for grills, but the gas pressure is regulated by the RV pressure regulator. The Grill2Go grill has a built in pressure regulator. Can this grill still be used by attaching to my RV regulated gas connection?

    Asked by: Dennis 2601
This Grill2Go can only be used with a disposable tank. A 4' hose & adapter can be used to allow this grill to connect to a 20 lb propane tank. This is model # 6184623 and it is available on the Char-Broil site. The Grill2Go cannot be used with any other propane source.

I have the GRILL2GO model 12401734. The product guide shows there is supposed to be a seperate grease tray and wind barrier but I didn't find that with the grill. The grease goes into the Heat shield. The wind barrier may be built in the unit, not sure.

    Asked by: Switchman
We're very sorry to hear this. We value you as a Char-Broil customer and want you to enjoy using your grill. Your Grill2Go should have included the grease tray and wind barrier. If these parts were missing please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be able to best assist.

I'm looking for the smallest gas grill available that can convert to natural gas ( I would prefer a table top model if available)

    Asked by: Rickster
We do not have a table top grill that would be able to convert from propane to natural gas. The smallest grill that we currently have that can be converted to natural gas is the TRU-Infrared Performance 2-Burner Grill. This is model # 463270614. The natural gas conversion kit needed to convert this grill is model # 4584609.
