Why is everyone having the same issue with this grill rack? Two other family we know had to replace their grill rack too which is why we know which one to purchase.

I have the Charcoal Grill 800, Model #13301865. The charcoal pan is rusted out in the middle. Do I need the replacement pan with adjuster or can I just get the pan without the adjuster. There is nothing wrong with the adjuster on my current grill.

    Asked by: GT1989
The charcoal pan without the adjusters is model # 12301648-020605. This part is available on the Char-Broil site.

Does this part solve the rust-through problem of the original part?  I am hoping I can simply place this part on top of the existing part, covering the large hole in the middle.
