Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Grill I've Ever Owned!!! I've been cooking on this grill for almost a year now. It's amazing. Nothing like the traditional gas grills out there. It did take a few tries to get adjusted to the infrared feature. Once I got a handle on temp regulation, etc. I was off and running. Wow.! There is nothing like it. Yup, if you want to fire up a grill, cook a load of food and walk away until the next time you're hungry, this might not be the best grill for you. But if you take a few minutes to crank up the heat, it will burn off the accumulated grease. A few scrapes of the grill plates and grates, and this baby will welcome you with open arms the next time you head out to grill. I always spray some cooking spray over the grates after each use and cleaning. Really, 10 - 15 minutes to heat up, sip a beer in the meantime, a few brush strokes, quick scrape of the grates, and you're done. The only time I experienced any rusting was when I got lazy. I ate a wonderful meal, drank a beer or two or three and said "I'll clean it tomorrow". Tomorrow never came. LOL! If you were to cook a full course meal in your house, it would take way more than 10-15 minutes to clean up. Seriously. It's not an issue especially with the high quality food you present to your guests! A definite keeper. I live in Massachusetts and used it during our cold winter days. No problem getting the heat up or keeping it warm. Great for smoking too!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kept this in garage. Only in use for 2.5 years. Waste of $400. Do yourself a favor go to YouTube and watch the numerous videos on how cheap this grill is and components. Buy anything else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 1 year later I always had charbroil grills. They always last a long time for me. So it was time to make a purchase and I thought this would be a good investment. I guess I was wrong. I never had so many issues with grates. I do everything it says and they just rust way to fast. Im on my 3rd set and thing this is just crazy. I keep it covered, I use the nylon brush and I always coat the grate after every use. But once again they are rusting. very Sad that a grill at this price and i have spend over a hundred dollars a year to for new grates. My old $200 grill (Charbroil) lasted over 6 years with out issues.

my recently purchased commercial series 4 burner has "auto Clean", function. but what is this, there is nothing in the instruction book, there is nothing on the web site, why the mystery, what is it and how do you use it?

Asked by: aussie dave
Congratulations on your new grill. If your grill has the separate Auto-Clean feature you can use this by turning the grill to "Clean". This will then run for about 15 minutes to burn off any food and grease left from cooking. After 15 minutes, the Auto-Clean will shut off, but you will still need to manually turn off the propane tank. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.
