Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too bad this is the only such kit I'm a bit disappointed with this conversion kit. Once I finished installing it, I was amazed that this costs $60. You get a hose (the only *essential* part), the new dials, and a special wrench tool. I can't imagine this costs more than $10 in parts. The hose is of decent quality. No complaints there. The new dials are really cheap. They are a downgrade from the stock dials, which is unfortunate since you "need" the metal stop that prevents you from turning the burners too low. I'm seriously considering modifying the original dials so I can get the nicer looking ones back. To top it all off, the metal stop seems really easily bent or broken. I need to remind myself not to turn the dial too quickly or I might damage it! The special wrench works well to remove the gas flow nozzles (no need to place new ones in), but I can't imagine this hunk of metal contributed much to the $60 price tag. To top it all off, my grill was unique, it seemed! One of the bolts holing in the old dials was not held in only by the tapped hole, but it also had a nut that the instructions did not mention. I had to disassemble my grill to get at the nut, which added 20 minutes to the installation time, which was really annoying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to do. It was very easy to convert and if you kept the removed parts, it will be easy to convert back if you ever need to. Pricey for what you get but it works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good reasons to get this There have been complaints about the value of this conversion kit, but you are getting what you pay for. 1) The most expensive item in the kit is the gas quick-connect. This part anywhere is around $40 separately. If you don't want quick connect, then don't buy this product. I like this feature. 2) A 10 foot flexible, outdoor gas hose is going run you $18. You can get a 5 foot cable for about $12. I like the extra few feet, which can be coiled in the bottom of the grill housing. 3) The bezels are $4 each separately. My understanding is that they limit how low you can turn down each burner. With natural gas the pressure is lower than LP gas and if you turn down the burner too low, the flame will go out while the gas will still flow. Zoom in on the new bezels and you will see the stopper. 4) You know all parts will mate with this kit. If you choose DIY you may have to pay for an extra gas coupler or adapter, which can run you $5-10. 5) Using this kit means the process will be pretty fast and painless. Convenience. Assuming you want a quick gas connect, then this conversion kit is a good value with quality parts, and it has safety features included (bezel). For those wanting to save a few bucks with DIY, you might be able to modify your existing bezels to create safety stop (Search for image of part G511-0097-W2 and you can see the tab bent up in the bezel to provide a stop). Seems to me more pain than it is worth and I'd recommend getting the kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally , we have a great BBQ We ordered the grill and asked that it be put together and delivered. The next day they called and told us what time , within two hours, that it would be delivered. And it was. We added the natural gas conversion and started using it the same day with great results. We are very happy.

I can't remember when I converted it.  But I need to covert back to lp. I don't remember changing the orifice at all when I converted to natural gas.
