One control knob has fallen off my T-36D grill. It does not turn correctly if I slip it back on the male part. Can I glue it back on safely? If so, with what glue? If not, and I order a replacement knob, does it come with glue?

We do not recommend gluing this knob on to the valve stem. The control knob should just slide on and hold in place. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be able to best investigate this.

is the female part on the back of this knob plastic junk like the one i got with my grill or is it metal, the material that would make more sense by design?

This entire control knob is chrome plated. For more information please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548.
