How do I find my model number?

    • Manufacturer: Char-Broil
Controller is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Char-Broil Electric Grill This is my second one and I love the grill. However on both Grills the controller shorted out after one year of use. The replacement part (29101991) is $50 while an entire new Grill is $135. The part cost is too expensive at $50. I don't think I will be buying a third Grill.

My heating element in my Patio Bistro grill only heats up intermittently. To avoid buying parts I really don't need how can I determine if the problem is the controller or the actual heating element?

I have a Patio Bistro Model 12601578. It appears the controller is shorting-out. I tried to remove it; but it doesn't want to budge. Is it just stuck? Do I just pull it out from it's socket? Is part number 29101991 the correct replacement? Thanks,

    Asked by: Norm47
We're sorry to hear this. The controller should just pull out of the of the Patio Bistro. Model # 29101991 is the correct controller. Give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be able to best investigate.
