Controller is rated 3.359 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Char-Broil Electric Grill This is my second one and I love the grill. However on both Grills the controller shorted out after one year of use. The replacement part (29101991) is $50 while an entire new Grill is $135. The part cost is too expensive at $50. I don't think I will be buying a third Grill.

I have to keep resetting my outlet on my patio and have tried different outlets  but they all keep popping was never a problem before. Is it my controller? If so can I purchase the controller from Lowes/Home Depot? Has anyone had the same issue?

The light on my controller turns on when plugged in and turned to 5; however, my grill no longer heats.  What part do I need?  I have had this grill about 3 years and would love to keep it.  It's ideal for my condo patio.
