Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love our grill Perfect for a deck. We made the mistake of cleaning the grill with a wire brush. Had to order a new grill surface, but it was inexpensive and shipped quickly. We've had our grill for 4 years now. We love it.

I accidentally followed the directions to season the grates and then later read that the porcelain grates don't need to be seasoned.  That seemed to ruin the grates as they were extremely sticky and I cannot seem to remove it.  Any recommendations?

    Asked by: Komo
Seasoning porcelain grates should not negatively impact them. Applying a small of vegetable or canola oil to the grates before you cook will help to keep food from sticking.

We have a Char Broil Patio Bistro electric grill and would like to order a new grill for it. It measures 17 3/4 inches just like the one you have online. Will it fit our grill (i.e. have the right groves in the front)? I can't find a model number.

what is the prep for first time use on a porcelain grill

    Asked by: yogi8
We recommend seasoning the cooking grate with canola oil and turning the grill to high for about twenty minutes. Seasoning the cooking grate will prolong the lifetime and help to keep food from sticking.
