Horrible. Not even close to the original. These are NOT like the original grates. These have a shiny wax like coating and are not the dull looking heavy duty cast iron grates that originally came with the commercial series BBQ. The original model #'s have been discontinued and these came up as the replacements.

My grill is well cared for, always covered, stored for the cold weather seasons. Grates are cleaned after every use. They have rusted out after one year and I feel the price to replace both grates is outrageous. I might as well replace the grill with a better quality one rather than pay the $84.00 for two grates! If they came in stainless steel, I would consider those.

What A Differant!!!My old iron grate on my outdoor grill didn't survive the years very well and this Winter at all...they were all rusty and this year my son-in-law chief refused to cook on it even though I sanded it down the grates the best I could. I knew Char-Broil would have replacements for them to add a few more year to my grill.
The new grates arrived five days earlier than estimated and the new grates are porcelain coated...what a difference in cooking and clean-up. I will remove the grates inside the house over the Winter from now on even though I have a Char-Broil grill cover. Looking to do a lot of grill cooking outside, not only for parties but for general cooking too.

Great replacement for stock grateI have been using my original grates for about 3 years. They started to rust and cleaning was no longer an option. The new grates were a perfect fit for my grill.
