Rated 1 out of 5 by LBonthenet from Not Satisfied with Product Have had grill for 4 years. We keep it closed, covered and on the porch. The grates have already rusted through with holes in them (though we do apply oil before and after cooking every time). But, cleaning them is such a problem. They don't clean well and I don't feel good about getting food off the grill with remnants of the "black stuff" from previously cooking out. Husband always brushes grates afterward (when grill cools) and applies oil and I am often having to clean them with a bbq grill cleaner. Disappointed. Would not buy a model with this type of grate every again. !!!!

$52.99 per grate? is there just a wire replacement to replace the 2?
Ya, $52.99! Can't believe they even think that is reasonable! I was looking into a retrofit grate as well. Pile of junk we were sucked into buying.

With all the negative reviews of the horrible grill grate that is included in your product, why has the company not even bothered to provide a replacement grill grate that is easy to clean and does not cost more than the entire grill????? Worst product!!

Keeping your cooking grates seasoned with canola or vegetable oil will prevent food from sticking to them and make cleanup easier. After each grilling, burn off leftover food debris by turning the grill on HIGH and leaving the lid closed for 15 minutes, then give your grates a good cleaning using a nylon bristled grill brush and our biodegradable grill cleaning spray.
