Rated 2 out of 5 by Favian2008 from Grates not worth replacing! I was grilling 2 to 3 times a week and was great for a few months. The grates started to rust and clog all the time and i was going to replace them cause they are falling apart but i just saw the price. I would rather just purchase a new grill and probably not this brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tessbuck from Replacement Grates I've had mine (for this being) the 3rd year. I also cleaned and covered mine all the time when not in used......winter over, come spring...grates are rusted. Bought new grates last summer.....one again cleaned them each time..covered when not in used......starting 3rd year NOW......grates are again rusted......and once again, on this site to buy new grills. With the price of the grills.....could have just saved my money each year and bought a new grill. Seems like that Char-Broils grills are only good for one summer. Didn't know they sold "throw away grills" !!!! Now going on the 3rd summer which hasn't started yet.....I need replacement grills.....and now they don't have my Model #463722311.

Rated 1 out of 5 by steelslinger2003 from Grates rust easily and are hard to clean I have had this grill for over a year and the grates are difficult to clean and are now rusing out. I use this for normal grilling and do not use high acidic products such as sauces and marinade. Not sure if these are stainless or what type of stainless they are made of.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tom H from cooking grates are poor quality The grill itself cooks well--even faster than a regular grill. However, the cooking grates have deteriorated far too quickly--they are not even two years old yet but are completely rusted with one even flaking apart. I burn the extra food off each time and oil them each time. Cleaning is really a hassle and $125 every 18 months to replace three grates is not reasonable. (The grill is never left outside--always under a covered Florida porch)

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mike8936 from Hard to clean It cooks really fast, but it can't get it clean. We even bring it to a car wash to use high pressure water to clean the grates. From the first use it was impossible to clean.

I have model #463270614 & my cookong grates are rusted and all covered in cookong debris. I was at my daughter's house and thier new Char-Brpoil grill uses another grill over the kind on mine. Are these available for my model?
The only cooking grate that will fit your grill is model # G519-A400-W1. How are you normally cleaning your grates? We recommend a nylon brush and warm soapy water or biodegradable grill cleaner. Seasoning the grates with canola oil will also help to keep food from sticking and prevent rust. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.

does the cooking grate tray come with the cooking grate? I think the part number is 3486613.
Model # G519-A400-W1 is a Performance infrared cooking grate and does not use an emitter tray.

I have had this grill for a year now. I love the cooking but these supposedly stainless steel grates are lousy. I don't know what planet these are from, but here on Earth, stainless steel does not-- can not-- rust. I seasoned them, but they are a pain.
We're sorry to hear this. There are multiple grades of stainless steel and some stainless steel, while rust resistant, can rust. Has a case been created with us? Please follow this link... https://support.charbroil.com/help/contact
