How do I clean this gratee without ruinuing the porcelain, again?
To best clean we recommend a nylon brush and warm soapy water or biodegradable grill cleaner. Seasoning the grates with canola oil will also help to keep food from sticking and prevent rust. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.

$48 dollars for garbage?? The porcelain peels off after the first use. If I make this purchase it will be the third set on a grill that's only a few years old! I can't understand why I would pay a $150 for replacements!! So disappointed with this grill !!
Same problem here I want shopping for a new grill I think it's going to be a Kenmore from sears better quality

Is there a stainless steel option for these grates. I have not had good experience with the porcelain coated ones
I cleaned mine with the tool that came with the grill as well and the grates rusted horribly. That is why I am looking to replace them. At $50 bucks a grate, I might as well get another grill (I only paid $200 new). This time though, I won't buy Char-Broil. If you aren't suppose to clean the grill with the supplied tool, then don't include the tool!
