How do I find my model number?

Electronic Ignition Kit is rated 3.75 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spotty Quality, no warranty on replacement! First ignitor lasted 9 years, it's replacement lasted 9 months and Char-Broil would not replace it so I was left without any option other than to buy another. Not a good way to keep a customer who has purchased two of their grills in 10 years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product, lousy instructions. The ignitor kit was great, the service excellent, but if you are a backyard barbecuer like me, (not a profesional) save your old parts or leave them in until you get your new kit so that you can see how they go together. Also, if you did a conversion to natural gas like I did, also get the replacement tubes, which are completely hollow, (different than the propane ones). Five year old Char-broil works better than new!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit and great customer service! I contacted Char-Broil about 30 days ago and ordered a new igniter kit for my grill. Very affordable but also, fantastic customer service. The best I have experienced in a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good to go I bought this about a month ago, and it has been fine. I would wish they would include instructions, and the ignition button is not the best, but I still got it to work

Does it matter how the ignition electrode cords are attached to the ignition module?

    Asked by: Ian2208
Yes. Each electrode and wire should go to the appropriate burner.

When you replace the battery in the ignition box, which end of the battery goes in first? The + or the - ? I have done it both ways and nothing happens, I think I need to replace the ignition but need to know the correct battery insertion direction.

    Asked by: leora
When placed in the ignition module, the negative end (-) of the battery will need to be placed in first. We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with this ignition. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be able to best assist.
