How do I find my model number?

    • Manufacturer: Char-Broil

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked for a while This worked for me for a while - probably 1 year and 1 day - just enough for the warranty to run out. It was blazing hot - seared steaks so the juices were locked in - great cooking temps etc., then, it started to wane down. Not so hot afterwards. When I came to this site to see how much a new part replacement would be I see where they make their money....I will go buy a new BBQ now -not necessarily a Char-Broil - but certainly not an infared.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Got my grill back up and running I believe this was a higher price for quite awhile. glad it was reduced. However, other brands offer 3 year warranty. This part failed shortly after 1 year (your warranty) enough said.

I have a Char Grill Bistro Patio. My element burned out. I can't find the model Number. How can I get a new element?

    Asked by: Petepoole
To find the correct element we need the model number for your Patio Bistro. This model number should be on the rating label, on the back towards the bottom of the grill, and also on the front cover of the product guide. The model number normally begins with 46. Replaced the element because it broke. Now when we cook we cannot set the temp setting. No matter what we set it to (1-5) it heats up to the highest setting. Then it will not turn off. We have to unplug it.

The grill stopped heating. Does it need a new element or thermostat? I really don't to buy both.
