Very robust!I purchased this as a replacement for the grate in the barbecue I bought in the early 2000s. I was VERY impressed with how think the metal rods are. Chrome plated, very stout, and will last longer than I will, probably. A tiny glitch is that this isa teensy bit less wide than the original, so it tends to force the hangers slightly outward at the top, and they interfere a little bit with the lid. This only happens when the grate is at the highest position on the hanger arms--no big deal. The shipping box was much larger than it needed to be, but it came with enough bubble wrap to last me about five years or so.

top qualityI had patched my old tray several times and decided it was time for a new one this is my third charbroil grill, I had an older smaller one then my inlaws change to gas grills so I ended up with theirs, would not have any other brand cooks great. I took the legs off and side panels and built it into my cook area. this is my 37th year with this brand.

Will the fire grate for your new CB940X fit or is it adaptable to my 25-year-old 940? The size seems a little different.
