How do I find my model number?

    • Manufacturer: Char-Broil
Firebox is rated 1.4 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from rust rust rust I like the look and functionality of this grill but I'm very disappointed that the bottom of the fire box completely fell off and down onto my propane after only 3 years. Unacceptable. A new one is 89.99 but I'll just buy another but it will not be a charbroil.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Annual Purchase - Is that ordinary? My grills are covered daily. I have two grills at my location and have purchased 4 fireboxes in the last 26 months. With the most recent purchase being April. The box is easy enough to install, if the rest of the grill is still intact. Obviously I do like the functionality of these grills, otherwise I wouldn't try and rehabilitate them. The only concern is the longevity of the metal that is used to divert the grease and particles to the tray below the black box but connected to the black firebox. That is the only reason that I have to replace it every year. It rusts quickly and doesn't hold up to the elements at all. Once it deteriorates, it presses down on the tray rails and breaks them. So I have to keep a good eye on those which I replaced this year as well. If I could find a coating that could withstand heat and assist with the rust prevention, it would help the grill last for a longer cycle. I wouldn't buy a replacement grill until I am certain that the same issue doesn't present itself as well. Not sure if I am going back with the Char-Broil version. We will see what is out there when I go to buy in the future. Too bad that metal flashing below the black portion of the firebox is so weak....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened to Charbroil quality? The firebox just rusted out and fell on top of my gas tank. Completely rusted out in 4 years. On our covered deck. Our last 3 Charbroils worked great and the quality was top notch. From the other reviews, I'm asking "What happened to Charbroil?"

Rated 1 out of 5 by from We like the Charbroil Commercial Grill Model #463257010, but being on an island in the southeast even with the heavy cover the bottom of the firebox and the grease tray have rusted out. We enjoy your products but honestly the "entire" product should be made in a sturdier manner.

The firebox on my grill (Model 463244011) has now rusted out and crumbled in pieces. Does the replacement firebox include the rails for the grease pan? Does the firebox include the main burner tubes? Does it include the Hose regulator assembly? Thanks

    Asked by: blbower
This is the correct firebox for your grill. This firebox does not include the burners, rails or hose/valve/regulator assembly. Each main burner for your grill is model # G515-2200-W1, the hose/valve/regulator assembly for your grill is model # G515-4200-W1, the left grease tray rail is model # G515-0024-W1 and the right grease tray rail is model # G515-0025-W1. All of these parts are available on our site.

It appears that firebox G515-C800-W1 doesn't come with the burner tubes, etc. Can those parts be re-used from the original firebox G515-3600-W1 which is no longer available or does everything need to be bought new?

    Asked by: Brian D
Yes. As long as these parts are in working order they can be used with your replacement firebox.

The entire bottom of our less than 3 year old grill (which is kept on our covered deck) has completely rusted out. I just need to know what all parts we need to replace. We love our grill and don't want to buy a new one.

I have to agree, my firebox is completely rusted out. Considered buying a piece of stainless and lining what is left of it to make it last longer. Also I had replace my ignitor twice and need to again. Think I will just buy another grill, not charbroil.
