    yea my heat shield is sagging rusty and already has holes i was thinking of buying the more expensive model hoping its more durable but im hesitant out of fear its parts are just as bad

    Is the heat plate #G102-0500-W1 made of stainless steel?  If not, it should be.

    I agree that it shoild be stainless. Only used mine about 15 times @ 10 minutes each! The shield is sagging & rusty. Actually it is partially cracked on the edges. Won't last maybe a few more burns! Hate to BUY another one plus shipping & only last the same. Thicker Stainless would be great. The burner is not lookin too good either. Hate to keep buyin parts for $25 grill.
