We love our big easy fryer so much we bought 2, but one of them isn't burning like it should. Is it the regulator?
We're sorry to hear this. Has the regulator been reset? If the Big Easy is turned on or off incorrectly it can cause the safety device in the regulator to trip. This will cause a low flow and the regulator will need to be reset. This is an easy procedure that involves unhooking the regulator from the propane tank for a minute and then reattaching and following the lighting instructions on your grill. Make sure that when your Big Easy is turned off that the Big Easy is shut off first and then the propane tank. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.

The aluminum head on my regulator hose started icing up when I was using my Big Easy (love this thing!) I discovered it was venting propane from a small hole on the front of it. Loosening the connection to the tank helped, but is this hole a feature?
This hole is standard. The regulator icing over is a sign of an overfilled propane tank. Give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be able to best investigate this.

I have only had the big easy for 8 months, absolutely love it. My husband has turned into a pro griller. But it has started turning itself off while cooking. I just replaced the propane. So I know it's full. What could be causing this?
We're glad you've been enjoying your Big Easy, but we definitely apologize for this issue you've encountered. You may need to reset the regulator by turning the gas and the grill off, detaching the regulator from the propane tank, and allowing it to dangle for 60 seconds. Securely reattach and hand-tighten the regulator to the tank, then slowly turn the gas on all the way and light the Big Easy per its instructions. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 so we may best assist.

I used my new Big Easy about to times last year. This spring, the gas valve will not turn. The grill was only about $100, and the valve/hose assembly is $49.95 plus shipping. What causes this, and will I have to replace the valve every year?
