I have this part #80003054, I need the installation instructions.  Would you please email these to me.

    Asked by: Richard 4
Please take a look at the steps below for basic electronic ignition installation. Give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information. 1. Locate and remove the screws that attach the control panel to the front of the grill (these are under each shelf towards the front of the grill.) 2. Once screws are removed loosen the control panel. You will not need to remove it completely, just loosen to give enough room to remove ignitor. 3. Remove rubber ignition button and plastic hex nut. 4. Reach through door(s) and behind control panel and remove wires connected to the back of the box. If you are replacing the wires as well, simply disconnect them from the electrodes and remove entire box and wires together. 5. Put new ignition system in place of the old one and attach the plastic hex nut. 6. Reattach the ignition wires to the electrodes and the ignition system. 7. Reattach the control panel using the screw that you took out of the grill. 8. Attach the rubber ignition button ad be sure to include the battery.

I have received ignitor assembly 80003054 and now to install it. I assume the knobs must come off the control panel and then the panel must be removed. What type of set screw holds the knob. What else can you tell me about installation? Thank you.

This electronic ignition module is able to fit multiple Char-Broil grills. To best answer this we will need the model number for your grill. This model number should be on the rating label, on the back towards the bottom of the grill, and also on the front cover of the product guide. The model number normally begins with 46. Give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.

The instruction manual for model 463243911 says to "replace spark module assembly" to solve the ignition problem that I am having.  I can't find anything called "spark module assembly" to order.  Please help.

    Asked by: Barb2
Are you seeing a spark or hearing a clicking when the ignition switch is pressed? The battery in the ignition module may need to be replaced. If there is a clicking sound, but no spark, the electrode with wire (G515-0067-W1) may need to be replaced. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be more than happy to best investigate and assist with this.
