Rated 5 out of 5 by from Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I purchased only one barbecue in my life and it was a Char-Broil. So far, that's all I needed. As long as you take care of it, keep it clean and replace parts as they wear out, then you should get many great years of use out of your Char-Broil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Product and excellent Customer Support I've had my gas grill for 6 yrs and love it. I keep it clean and when a part wears out (wife and I grill year-round and at least 3x/week) I'm always pleased to see that Charbroil still has parts, they're not expensive, and the customer support staff is ALWAYS extremely helpful. I'm 56 yrs old and have had Charbroil grills for at least 23 years. I'm sticking with them.

I have a Patio Caddie 475496005 and purchased the Ignitor pushbutton (4153713) and Electrode wire 29101019 from you. I put these 2 parts on (gas tank is not hooked up) and pushed the ignitor button but no spark comes out. Do I need an Electrode?

    Asked by: MHR1
Was the ignitor pressed in repeatedly? Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be able to investigate this.

Does the wire and the end of the ignitor that attaches close to the burner come with this part?

    Asked by: Edward Wehrenberg
No. The ignitor wire is not included with this ignitor. Please provide us with the model number for your grill and we will be able to locate the correct ignitor wire needed.

Question - recently I noticed that my grill does not light when the ignitor button is pushed. There is definitely gas flowing so its pretty clear there is no spark to start the flame.  Should I be replacing the ignitor or the electrode or both? Thanks!

    Asked by: DPhillips
We're sorry to hear this. Please make sure that the electrode is within a quarter of an inch from the burner port hole so that the spark can transfer. Give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be able to best investigate this.

We would need to know the full model number for your grill to locate the correct replacement ignitor. This model number should be on the rating label, on the back towards the bottom of the grill, and also on the front cover of the product guide. The model number normally begins with 46.
