Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like it. I really like this thermometer, easy to use fast readings and the flip design allows easy storage. While grilling and smoking different meats, I keep this thing in my pocket with ease. At the tip it is beveled smaller, for about half an inch, I wish that was about an inch and a half longer, so it wouldn't leave a larger hole for the larger cuts of meat. I'd still buy it again and definitely recommend to anyone. I love it! This thing is awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Digital Thermometer Recently bought this digital thermometer. I like the way the probe folds up and the custom settings that you can use. I read the one review where the reviewer talked about this unit being way off and there was no way to calibrate it. It is really a simple process to probe something that you know the temp of (glass of iced water) and if the unit is off, write down the results and just bear in mind how much it is off by. Then simply add or subtract (depends on which way the unit was off) the number of degrees it was off and use that info when you take a reading. Or simply create a custom setting by adding or subtracting from your desired reading, and there you have it. So in essences the lack of built in calibration is not a deal killer for this digital thermometer.
