Large Propane Gas Smoker is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Smoker Have used one of these smokers for many years and it has been a very good investment, smokes meat without drying it out, makes the best boston butts and briskets, this unit works as good as my large brick smoker. I smoke meat for many outings at work and church.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Value/Starter Smoker I just purchased my second one of these. The first unit lasted about six years. Assuming this one lasts as long, that's about $2.50/mo. Any way you look at it, that's pretty darned good value. 1) This is a great little unit for what it is. --Folks LOVE my 'Que and can't believe I turn out quality Brisket, Ribs & Pulled Pork off this patio sized smoker. 2) IF you want a more robust, solid, heavy or hard to move smoking rig, get out your wallet/purse and spend a lot more money! We are limited on space, which I why I invested in a second one of these. It gets the job done, and the price is such, that when we move, the little smoker can stay. :) (Pointers: Always empty and clean out the ashes from the chip/water pan and it will last much longer. This was the first thing to rust thru on my first one, & I had to order a replacement pan for $25.) - If you need a higher temp, use your own separate water pan on a bottom rack while keeping moistened chips/chunks in the included pan directly above the flame. I typically go for a long slow smoke for pork and beef (Temp at 180 to 190 degrees) and the results are restaurant quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not really pleased at all Where do I start. The door doesn't seal at all. I tried it a number of different ways starting with water and wood chips in the bottom as the directions suggest. Water ran dry twice in less than 2 hrs. Then I tried wood chips only in bottom with a tin pan with water above. Can't get it up to 225 and I have 2 digital thermometer probes, one on lower rack and one on upper. With gas almost on high it is running 190 on bottom and 168 on top. Not to mention the door thermometer reads totally different thatn my digital probe. Should have went with a better built on. Unfortunately I am a victim of instant gratification and an unhappy one at that. Will defiantly be calling the company about this.

Just purchased vertical gas smoker. What is the correct way to season it before first use?

Asked by: Mattbarry
Congratulations on your new smoker. We recommend coating the inside of the smoker with a light, even coat of a high burning oil and letting it burn off until the unit stops smoking. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.

Where do the sticks and water go?

Asked by: Marcos305
On model # 15202033 there will be a pan located under the cooking racks and above the burner that will hold the water and wood chips.
