Packaged Cast Iron Grate Large is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Price I purchased the porcelain grate thinking I would receive 3 grates for the $39.99 price listed. I received 1 grate. I found these same grates along with the infared tray below the grate at Home Depot for $29.99. I would think that purchasing direct from Char-Broil I would have received a better price. Most disappointed in this purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have absolutely loved this grill since I bought it about a year ago! Is it really often and always keep it covered however I am searching for grates and the tray beneath the grate. I find it rediculous that they are 39.99x2 plus the other two items. It's almost cheaper to buy a new grill

Rated 1 out of 5 by from On 3rd set The porcelain on these grates doesn't last very long at all. I have used the recommended Char-Broil brush and "cool" cleaning and it still peeled and then the cast iron below rusted. Char-Broil has been GREAT replacing the parts under warranty,(twice now) but they keep sending me the same part. I am hopeful this newest set will last longer than 6 months. I see the reviews on the cast iron grates are good, so maybe these porcelain coated grates should be retired.

Sorry I forgot to mention the grate replacement that I need. It's for a commercial Char-Broil model 463241013. I need a set of three, but without the porcelain coating. Please don't tell me that they only come with the porcelain coating

Model # 80021355 is the correct cooking grate for your grill. This grate is sold individually. We apologize, but this grate is only available in porcelain-coated cast iron. Two cooking grates are needed for your grill. Replenishment Kit model # 55710731 can be used with your grill.

Will this fit grill model 463243911? I hate the plates and grates that come with this grill. So hard and messy to clean. Doesn't seem to cook as well as with regular grates.

    Asked by: Homer0905
Yes. If this cooking grate is used, the emitter will need to be replaced as well. The emitter that works with this grate is model # 80021356. Replenishment Kit model # 55710731 will include both of these parts and can be used with your grill.

This grate is the one included in the Commercial Series Urban 2-Burner Grill Replenishment Kit. Give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information. This kit includes two grates, two emitters, two flame tamers and one carryover tube.

The grates have rust on them and build up of a black mess. I left the grill open when it rained. Can I clean these with a steel brush or grinder and a drill or will I ruin them? Do you have a better way? Grill is 463241313 or T-36D Thanks

My T36 Infrared is 2 years old, and the grill is always covered after use. I keep grates and panels coated with vegetable oil, treat them with Charbroil's products and they still get rusted constantly. Obviously the light coating of porcelain put on the grates at the factory doesn't do its job and is proven to me to be a waste of product. You may want to use a wire grill brush to remove some of the flaking, along with the grate cleaning tool, but I'd never use a grinder on the grates. By doing so, they will deteriorate in a flash -- guaranteed. I use the grate tool on the grates and panels, wash them in soapy water, and then put them back on the grill. I heat the grill to dry the parts and then brush them lightly with vegetable oil.
