Portable CB500X® Charcoal Grill is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grill I received this grill for as a gift several years ago. It has been the best portable grill I have ever had. The construction and durability of it is top notch. I seen the review with concerns about the plastic caps. I used this grill weekly if not more than that for years and never had a problem. I don't take time to write reviews on things but I felt like this grill was worth the time.

There is a large round hole on the bottom right side with three small screw holes around it.  What is this for?  Is there a missing damper?

Do you have or do you have  recommendation for a stand that would go with this grill.  I can find one labeled Weber, lol.

My custom cover, that I ordered with my CB500X caught on fire, need a replacement, like the original with side buckle snaps. I could not find them on your web page.

The closest cover that we have for this grill is the Grill2Go Custom Grill Cover. This is model # 4187018 and it is available on the Char-Broil site. This cover should fit your grill.

I ordered a Char-Broil - CB Collection 500X Grill from Best Buy Model # 12301388 but I see the specs are different from the ones you have listed. Are there two different models under the same model #?

I consider myself a fairly intelligent person but you are going to have to tell me how in the world the lid hangers are installed? The manual does not say and the way they are bent at the ends I can't get them in their designated holes??

Asked by: PT109
I had the same problem. There's an easy way ,which they don't tell you in the instructions, to install the lid hangers. Just shut the lid and put the hanger through both lid and base via the front fire box opening. Took me thre beers to figure that out.
