Rated 1 out of 5 by from There is no "Low" flame setting This is brand new. Decided to test it. Followed the instructions and it fired up on the first try - pegged the thermometer in a few minutes. I can only guess how hot it actually got. Instructions say there is a low and high setting. I removed the grates and heat tent to observe the flame. Absolutely no difference between high and low. Is the regualtor vlave bad?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Produces wonderful BBQ I was looking for a portable BBQ that would be an improvement over my older tabletop BBQ, and this Tru Infrared intrigued me. After getting it we initiated it with grilling salmon, and it did a beautiful job on it. I didn't realize how much oil is in salmon. The grill kept flames (flair up)from coming through. It cooks evenly, and the piazo igniter and temperature gauge are great to have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from infrared this little grill packs a punch! it is hot! its fast! i love it! though it does create a lot of smoke when grilling fatty or oily meats, so may not be good for a small patio.

can I use LPG on this item, if so where can a get a realtor hose to fit to a tank. The small cylinders that fit to the BBQ  are ridiculously expensive here in New Zealand.

Asked by: esky69
Hi Devon P - Although I am in Australia and the small disposable cartridges are around $9-$11 each I prefer to hook mine up to a large cylinder because they are short lived. Just go to your local camping supply store, Mitre 10 or Bunnings in NZ. They will have a LP gas hose to fit your 4-8 kg propane tank. Shoud cost no more than $15 -$25 NZD. Cheers Bro!

Can this grill be connected to a regular natural gas line? If not, do you sell any portable grills that can connect to a natural gas line?

Asked by: EB123
No. We do not currently have any portable grills that can be converted to natural gas.
