    2015 Thanksgiving
    first time user. Did as instructions said and read a few reviews and recipes before using. Cooked in exact time recommended. I did make sure the fryer wasn't affected by the wind. Rubbed turkey in peanut oil and then a mixture of spices, put in pan and covered with foil and let marinate over night in refrigerator. The bird came out looking fantastic. The finale proof was that two people said this was the best tasting turkey they ever had. Can't wait to try ribs.

    convieniant and easy clean
    I bought this as a gamble I already have a oil fryer but it takes too much time for prep and clean up . Cooking time is longer with the charbroil but the overall time is shorter and the flavour of the food is equal and also you have more options of what you can cook in the big easy . The only change I would make is instead of a basket for the turkey , have a base with a rod up the middle that would support the turkey with a hook at the top for removing , then sides of turkey would not stick and ... read more would be easier to remove to a platter .

    Always deep fried turkeys for thanksgiving it was dangerous and expensive. Since I purchased this new Char-Broil I have cooked six or seven turkeys and they look and taste as good as the deep fried ones. Its easy prep the bird, place in the basket, start the cooker and just time it. No need to sit around wondering if an oil fire would erupt from the deep fryer

    Fantastic results
    We bought this last year. We love it. It's taken some practice, but the results are fantastic! The chicken and turkey comes out with CRISPY skin and is tender and moist inside. Just remember NOT to use oil and butter -- it will smoke and burn, and you don't need it on this grill.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE THE SRG
    I purchased this SRG before reading the reviews. When I read some of the reviews regarding how difficult it was to assemble I considered sending this big box back to HSN I worked up to courage to open it and attempt to put it together I DID IT!! It really was not difficult at all. I then seasoned it as directed and with fingers crossed proceeded to smoke an eleven pound brisket cut in half.     Best Grill Ever
    I took a chance on this style grill. I was happily surprised when I started using it. Because the burner is at the bottom, the food does not burn. I've cooked burgers, steaks, Vega tables and none burned. You get great grill marks. The only down side is the small chip holder. Seems like the chips last about 20 minutes. The book advises to not soak them, however I will try that.
