    Better than trying to deep fry.
    My wife and I saw this at Lowes right before Thanksgiving, and she just thought we had to have one. Purchased it and about a 17 pound turkey. Injected it with Tony Chachere's Creole Injectable, rubbed the outside with olive oil and a little Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning and let her rip. The bird miraculously turned a perfect brown on the outside near the end and the meat was juicy, with great flavor. Have done several chickens since, and plan to do a brisket this summer. Great product at a great price.

    Great product!
    I purchased the oil less about a year ago and I use it for everything. (Chicken, turkey, kabobs, even salmon!!) One thing I do want to point out is that "frying" a turkey does take a little longer than advertised, but it probably because my turkey weighed more than 16 lbs. (About 18 lbs) Other than the longer wait, the turkey was juicy, moist, and put everyone to sleep! I would recommend injecting the turkey or brining it to make even moister. A great investment for the price!

    Some Good Cook'n
    I bought the Big Easy infrared turkey fryer for Thanksgiving 2013. I did a comparison with two turkeys, one with the oil fryer and one infrared. Results were almost identical except without all the oil saturating the turkey. I ended up buying all the accessories to cook other meats. Kabobs, whole chickens, chicken drum sticks (salt and pepper only), spare ribs, baby back ribs, corned beef, pork roast, pork loins (boneless), and beef roast.     Wonderful addition to BBQ
    I recently purchased this and am enjoying so far. Ive cooked only 4 whole chickens and 1 roast so far and they have been wonderful. The chickens have been wonderful and juicy and the roast was flavorful but a little too well. I recommend cooking lower flame and taking out meat 2 to 3 degrees less than recommended and letting sit as meats will continue to cook. Also get a injector and inject flavors into the meats.     Changed Our Life!
    This was given as a first from a relative who never took it out of the box. First use, and we were hooked! I never really cared for chicken before it was done in this smoker. (Wood chips optional) And now we have chicken on the regular since And we been crowned the chicken masters! We use it for grilling all meets and vegetables and roasting, and it is so evenly cooked and perfectly roasted and moist. Some might want a little more capacity or grill space, but it's still ample size for us ... read more considering you can cook a 25 lb bird if necessary. I would understand someone needing something bigger but it works for a family of 4-5. We had our gift giving relative over for dinner and she went back and ordered another one for herself after all! She now is cooking with it and loving it!

    It's addicting!
    I first bought the Big Easy Turkey Fryer and loved the job it did on turkey's and chicken, then saw the SRG. I have since sold the fryer to a friend, and use my SRG constantly from chicken legs to turkey's to brats, steaks, burgers and roasts. Great ease of use, flavor, and all VERY juicy!! I think I'm going to sell my old Weber also!

    Learning to cook!
    This is an amazing product. Your meats come out so moist and tender that you keep trying different kinds just to see how amazing the next meat or vegetables are going to taste. There is just one problem with the smoker the door needs to be sturdier, we fixed it by putting a window latch on the door so it wouldn't open while you were cooking. They sent me another door but that one had the same problem.

    Easy to use
    Have smoked, pork sirlon, pork baby back ribs and a whole chicken so far. Everyone agreesi the best they ever had. Yum!
