Great Oil-less Fryer
I bougth this item last year for Thanksgiving. After trying the fryer with a whole chicken, which was excellent in flavor and juices, we planned to have two (2) turkeys available for a Thanksgiving party. We did one in my Oil-less fryer and another one in a regular kitchen oven. My turkey took less time to cook, and kept more juices than the regular oven turkey. Not to mention that the flavor was excellent. Easy to use and easy to clean.
Our next goal, to cook a Turducken... (^_^)
I have always used oil to Deep Fry a Turkey. 3 years ago I bought The Big Easy and have never deep fried with oil again, it says 16lb. max, however last year I cooked a 20lb. turkey just watch the drip pan it will get full, Love The Big Easy!
Some Good Cook'n
I bought the Big Easy infrared turkey fryer for Thanksgiving 2013. I did a comparison with two turkeys, one with the oil fryer and one infrared. Results were almost identical except without all the oil saturating the turkey. I ended up buying all the accessories to cook other meats. Kabobs, whole chickens, chicken drum sticks (salt and pepper only), spare ribs, baby back ribs, corned beef, pork roast, pork loins (boneless), and beef roast. inside. Only thing I cook on the gas or charcoal grill now are steaks. Definitely got my moneys worth on this grill. Love it and I am still experimenting. Cook and Enjoy!!!
