I bought this bar-b-que because i bought one in 1998 and it lasted 16 years. It does great ribs, fajitas, steaks, smoked sauage, and burgers. It has all of the features that I need.

You Own the Summer!
I have had this grill for over a year and I love it! You have room for two full racks of ribs or a boatload of chicken and burgers or a celebration of veggies that can cook at their proper temperatures thanks to two levels of grilling or smoking genius!

This grill cooks food better than I could imagine. I have grilled steaks, smoked ribs, chickens, turkeys, and all kinds of vegetables. It burns evenly, helps the coals stay hot longer and shows no sign of wear even after a year.
Love how it has a temperature read out on top. Easy to clean heats up real fast. Great size for my small patio. Very happy with it.

it heats evenly and cooks perfectly. only problem is that this grill is more difficult to clean. Given the design of the actual grill surface, nothing falls to the bottom, and the grill must be scrapped with the tool provided. not simple, and messy.

The best compact grill on the market!
I've used this grill almost every day for 2 years now and it is accurate on temp and extremely good at preserving the natural flavor of the meats and veggies I've grilled on it. If you need a compact grill that uses gas, this is the grill for you!
I was a bit skeptical when I bought this as to whether it would give a turkey that fried taste. I was wrong to not believe. This unit cooks turkeys and everything else giving it the taste of being fried. Skin is nice and crispy like it has been put in a fryer. And no worries about a grease fire. Two thumbs up.

Love my new Char-Broil!
After reading many reviews, took a chance and bought one of these. It is very easy to use and our Thanksgiving turkey came out moist and tasty! I did use Creole injection and seasoning kit, which added just the right amount of spice. Skin came out crispy and was one of my kid's favorite parts of the turkey. Followed amount of time to cook per pound as instructed by included booklet (10 minutes for every 1 pound), but will check a little earlier with provided tempature gauge next time as it was just a little over done. Fast and easy clean up was a bonus!

Best since Peanut Oil
I have been using this cooker for years now and would not go back to the peanut oil. I was in New Orleans when the fried turkeys first became the rage. I could care less for turkey before I learned to cook it the "Cajon" way. I have been asked to cook as a "Celebrity Chef" for the last two years and it has been Cajon seasoned turkey from this cooker both years. The Turkey with my Cajon Potatoes and Gravy has been the hit of the house each time! Before when we first started cooking them in the oil, I could not recover the juices for the gravy; not now, the gravy completes the package!
After a the burner rod came and then I have been using it a lot more. Great to see that there isn't any flare ups and also the food cooks to a liking where there is no dryness in the food. Turning the heat down has been a plus and the food still gets done quickly.

Great Portable TRU-Infrared!
I have been a huge fan of the TRU-Infrared way of grilling on Char-Briol's full-size grills for years now. I refuse to grill a steak on any other kind of grill. Yes, they are that good. While the grill surface on the Grill2Go is not as sturdy as the new cast-iron overlays of their bigger brothers, it works just as well and is light-weight. I love the ease of removing the regulator/bottle so stowing it in my RV's outer compartment is a snap. I got 4 meals out of a canister of gas - including pre-heat, cook time, and burn-off. Have decided that it is NOT worth getting a larger bottle conversion. Only issue is not knowing exactly when the gas will run out.
We hosted 4 other couples at our campground, made some filet's for them and all have told us they were the best steaks they have ever had. Including restaurants. My secret? Toss some mesquite wood chips right on the grill after preheat and just before putting on the steaks. Other tips: Keep it at full heat. Keep lid open. Flip once after juices appear on top. Remove after juices appear on top again. Easy! Seasoning: Montreal Steak seasoning on all cuts except filet mignon. For filet mignon, use heavy coat of kosher salt and fresh ground pepper.
