    cooks great!
    I love the way it cooks. Unfortunately, the materials aren't that great and it's literally falling apart after 4 years. If I can find one on sale I will buy another because of the way it cooks. otherwise, I'll look for something else.

    Best Grill I have ever owned!!!
    I live in a condo and needed a gas grill that did not take up to much space. The grill size is perfect and you can cook for up to 6 people on the grill area. The TRU infrared cooks everything so well. I really like how the small holed grate keeps from flare ups. I have had it 2 seasons and use it a couple times a week and have had no problems with the product!

    great grill
    i have owned this grill for a couple of years and except for one minor ignitor issue it's been the best grill i have ever owned! No more wasting gas like i did with larger grills. One burner is plenty and its surface is big enough to grill four decent sized steaks. ill admit cleaning is more involved but the cooking rewards are worth it. Unless you have a large group to grill for this is the unit to get!

    20 degrees out and snowing on Thanksgiving Day.
    I have cooked two turkeys with this product and will never go back to a traditional turkey fryer. I gave the TRU-infrared cooking system its first run through, one month before Thanksgiving. The first bird was 14 pounds and was prepared without dry rub or injection. The temperature outside was 60 degrees. The cook time was on the low end at 10 minutes a pound, using the cover (as directed) at the end of the cook time. The result was a perfectly browned bird with a moist texture to the meat. My ... read more 2nd bird was 15 pounds and was injected (basic creole butter recipe, without dry rub) the night before cooking. The temperature outside was 20 degrees (and snowing). The cook time was on the high end at 15 minutes a pound, using the cover (as directed) during the entire cook time. The result was a perfectly browned bird with a juicy texture to the meat. My wife and I have hosted Thanksgiving for over a decade and average 30+ guests. She brines and roasts a bird in the oven and I fry one outside. At the end of the day, my bird was devoured and we had plenty of left overs from hers.

    Big easy is so easy !
    When I found out about the Big Easy, I about flipped. A oil less deep frying, that was my biggest compliant was the messy oil. So, I used my sister and brother-in-law as my guinea pigs and bought them one for Christmas and we used it right then. My brother-law is a hunter and had plenty of game on hand. We cooked up some pork rump or butt, I forget the cut. We seasoned them babies up with some Cajun and those were some of best pork oh man.     Makes a good fried turkey
    I was impressed with this turkey fryer at Thanksgiving when my son-in-law bought it over and cooked the turkey. It takes no oil, so that's a savings there. When the turkey had finished cooking I thought the beast would be dry, but to my surprise the beast was still moist. I thought, I had to get one, and I did with a really good price at that. You just inject and/or rub your meat to your liking, then put it in to cook. It's that easy.

    Best grill I have ever owned
    I have bought grill for the patio about every 5 years but I have bought one for camping almost every year. Both were complicated to set up and didn't really work that well. The Char-Broil TRU-infrared Grill2Go has taken the place of both. There are a very few parts and they are easily replaceable and with two quick snaps of the buckles, it it ready to go.

    Nice little grill
    Love the grill but the value is poor. I bought the hose to hook to a tank and was using it that way; when I left for my RV trip I desided to use the little tanks. The value woulded shut off. I had to go buy a 5lb tank and hook the hose back up so I could shut the gas off at the tank. The value doesn't regulate the flame eityher.

    Very well built
    I purchased this grill app 1.5 years ago. It is very well made, solid legs make it very stable, the grill grate has held up well, and it is relatively easy to clean debris from (the supplied tool for the grate works well). It does get hot fast. However, as others have mentioned, it is usually very difficult to control the temperature to the lower range (200-300 degrees), making it difficult to cook meats such as chicken and ribs that require longer times at lower heats, even with the lid propped ... read more partially open.     Very Impressed with this Grill!
    I was totally unsure about the whole Tru-infra red technology but I am completely sold on it. I'll likely never own another open flame grill again. I am still learning how to adjust my cooking times and temperatures to use on this grill but I enjoy experimenting with it. It has been useful that I have a handheld infrared thermometer to monitor the actual grill grates so I can gauge how long to sear meat. I also found that the included griddle is decent at making pannini style grilled cheese ... read more sandwiches. You really have to wait for the grill to cool down all the way before you can clean it effectively as you need to pick up the grates to remove any bits left on the emitter. I only wish there were more free online resources available specifically for Infra-red grilling.

    Cooks great
    This is the first Charbroil I've used and what a difference in grilling. My hamburgers were juicier and no flair ups on my sausages. Can't wait to try steaks..

    Got this grill recently, so can't say how it will hold up over a winter and long time use Good looking, well designed, and altho not huge, the cooking surface is large enough for a decent sized gathering Like how evenly the infra red surface cooks, we've had some perfectly grilled steaks so far And I really appreciate the cast iron griddle that fits on top of the side burner And truly like the gauge for the propane tank!     Awesome Grill
    This grill cooks food better than I could imagine. I have grilled steaks, smoked ribs, chickens, turkeys, and all kinds of vegetables. It burns evenly, helps the coals stay hot longer and shows no sign of wear even after a year.

    You Own the Summer!
    I have had this grill for over a year and I love it! You have room for two full racks of ribs or a boatload of chicken and burgers or a celebration of veggies that can cook at their proper temperatures thanks to two levels of grilling or smoking genius!

    My Second One
    I bought this bar-b-que because i bought one in 1998 and it lasted 16 years. It does great ribs, fajitas, steaks, smoked sauage, and burgers. It has all of the features that I need.
