    Best Grill I have ever owned!!!
    I live in a condo and needed a gas grill that did not take up to much space. The grill size is perfect and you can cook for up to 6 people on the grill area. The TRU infrared cooks everything so well. I really like how the small holed grate keeps from flare ups. I have had it 2 seasons and use it a couple times a week and have had no problems with the product!

    ASSEMBLY
    I ASSEMBLED MY NEW PATIO BISTRO YESTERDAY IN ABOUT 1 1/2 HOURS. THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET IS ACCURATE, BUT ONLY SHOWS PICTURES, THE MAJORITY OF WHICH ARE EASY TO FOLLOW. I NEEDED HELP ATTACHING THE LID BOLTS, BUT DID THE REST BY MYSELF. ONE FEATURE PUZZLED ME. THERE IS A CHAIN WITH ATTACHED WIRE HANGING IN THE BACK OF THE BARBECUE WITH NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHAT IT IS OR IF IT NEEDS TO BE ATTACHED. I CALLED HOME DEPOT AND THEY EXPLAINED IT IS USED TO LIGHT THE BARBECUE WITH MATCH.

    great grill
    i have owned this grill for a couple of years and except for one minor ignitor issue it's been the best grill i have ever owned! No more wasting gas like i did with larger grills. One burner is plenty and its surface is big enough to grill four decent sized steaks. ill admit cleaning is more involved but the cooking rewards are worth it. Unless you have a large group to grill for this is the unit to get!

    Very well built
    I purchased this grill app 1.5 years ago. It is very well made, solid legs make it very stable, the grill grate has held up well, and it is relatively easy to clean debris from (the supplied tool for the grate works well). It does get hot fast. However, as others have mentioned, it is usually very difficult to control the temperature to the lower range (200-300 degrees), making it difficult to cook meats such as chicken and ribs that require longer times at lower heats, even with the lid propped ... read more partially open. It excels at cooking burgers, steaks, chops, etc.

    Best grill I have ever owned
    I have bought grill for the patio about every 5 years but I have bought one for camping almost every year. Both were complicated to set up and didn't really work that well. The Char-Broil TRU-infrared Grill2Go has taken the place of both. There are a very few parts and they are easily replaceable and with two quick snaps of the buckles, it it ready to go.

    Solid Construction - Great Performance
    Bought this just prior to Jeep Beach. Grilled up 10 Pounds of Picanha Steaks. They were delicious. The grill performed fantastically even though the fat is heavy on these steaks so you need to keep it closed to avoid flare ups. Can't wait to try some slow roasting items. Would have given 5 but cleaning the grill after use is a challenge due to the design of the cooking surface. The carrying case is great to pack or store...

    Cooks well but smokes like crazy !!
    The 4 burner does a great job cooking the food. The problem is the smoke created due to the Infrared heat. It doesnt matter what I am cooking on a totally clean grill, the smoke is patio clearing. I guess you have to hope the flavor of the food outweighs the smoke screen it creates.

    Very Impressed with this Grill!
    I was totally unsure about the whole Tru-infra red technology but I am completely sold on it. I'll likely never own another open flame grill again. I am still learning how to adjust my cooking times and temperatures to use on this grill but I enjoy experimenting with it. It has been useful that I have a handheld infrared thermometer to monitor the actual grill grates so I can gauge how long to sear meat. I also found that the included griddle is decent at making pannini style grilled cheese ... read more sandwiches. You really have to wait for the grill to cool down all the way before you can clean it effectively as you need to pick up the grates to remove any bits left on the emitter. I only wish there were more free online resources available specifically for Infra-red grilling.

    Cooks great
    This is the first Charbroil I've used and what a difference in grilling. My hamburgers were juicier and no flair ups on my sausages. Can't wait to try steaks..

    You Own the Summer!
    I have had this grill for over a year and I love it! You have room for two full racks of ribs or a boatload of chicken and burgers or a celebration of veggies that can cook at their proper temperatures thanks to two levels of grilling or smoking genius!

    My Second One
    I bought this bar-b-que because i bought one in 1998 and it lasted 16 years. It does great ribs, fajitas, steaks, smoked sauage, and burgers. It has all of the features that I need.

    20 degrees out and snowing on Thanksgiving Day.
    I have cooked two turkeys with this product and will never go back to a traditional turkey fryer. I gave the TRU-infrared cooking system its first run through, one month before Thanksgiving. The first bird was 14 pounds and was prepared without dry rub or injection. The temperature outside was 60 degrees. The cook time was on the low end at 10 minutes a pound, using the cover (as directed) at the end of the cook time. The result was a perfectly browned bird with a moist texture to the meat. My ... read more 2nd bird was 15 pounds and was injected (basic creole butter recipe, without dry rub) the night before cooking. The temperature outside was 20 degrees (and snowing). The cook time was on the high end at 15 minutes a pound, using the cover (as directed) during the entire cook time. The result was a perfectly browned bird with a juicy texture to the meat. My wife and I have hosted Thanksgiving for over a decade and average 30+ guests. She brines and roasts a bird in the oven and I fry one outside. At the end of the day, my bird was devoured and we had plenty of left overs from hers.

    Worth every penny!
    I bought my Big Easy about 5 years ago, and every time i use it I get raves about the quality of the turkey. I bought it just to try it, and it turned out to be a real life saver at thanksgiving, I was able to cook the turkey outside and have the oven available for everything else. I have always left it outside covered when not in use, and have only recently noticed a little pitting on the steal finish. Its really well made.

    I'll never buy oil again!
    I bought my first Big Easy the first year they were introduced. I now own two. I will never fry again. I cook the turkeys every year for the family get together. I'm not sure how it happens but every year my family says this is the best turkey they have ever tasted, but I use the same recipe yearly. Now my brother, parents, my wife's parents and several friends own THE BIG EASY. By the way makes great Baby Back Ribs.
