I bought this bar-b-que because i bought one in 1998 and it lasted 16 years. It does great ribs, fajitas, steaks, smoked sauage, and burgers. It has all of the features that I need.

You Own the Summer!
I have had this grill for over a year and I love it! You have room for two full racks of ribs or a boatload of chicken and burgers or a celebration of veggies that can cook at their proper temperatures thanks to two levels of grilling or smoking genius!

This grill cooks food better than I could imagine. I have grilled steaks, smoked ribs, chickens, turkeys, and all kinds of vegetables. It burns evenly, helps the coals stay hot longer and shows no sign of wear even after a year.
after allot of reading, and hands on touching, wife and I decided to try char- broil tru infrared system. its alittle more pricey than the other grills, but if I must say its well worth the money. we have been very pleased with the mouth watering foods this grill has turned out. we have had a range of different types of meat on this grill and haven't been disappointed yet. you get a nice char on the food instead of the burnt taste of many other grills from all the flare ups, no flare ups here, even the tent covers over the burners have yet to get a drop of grease on them yet. this is truly a amazing grill, and have no problem letting others know this if I see someone shopping for a new grill in stores. the side burner with the griddle great feature, veggies, meats, fruits what ever you like. the only bad thing I can think of with this grill is your stove is going to get jealous.

The Finest Grill - Finally
I did a lot of research online and in the stores before deciding to buy the "Char-Broil Commercial Series™ 4 Burner Gas Grill MODEL #463242715" with the "TRU-INFRARED COOKING SYSTEM". I've had it for a while now and I've used it a lot, cooking a lot of different foods on it. It's wonderful.
This model is new for 2015, (as any Char-Broil model number ending in 15). The difference in the new model with the new infrared panels makes all the difference to me. Previous models of the Char-Broil infrared grills used different panels that indirectly heated your cooking surface and would trap drippings and clog the holes in the infrared panels which would then require constant cleaning to remain effective. I wasn't about to commit to a grill that needed disassembly and intricate cleaning after each use!
The new "TRU-INFRARED" grills are different now and they are as good as it gets! The new design puts the small holes in the infrared panels right under the porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates for a hotter grilling surface. This also means that these holes are now protected from any drippings. There are no clogged holes and any drippings quickly burn away in the troughs of the infrared panels. The cooking grates clean easily with a brush and you are ready to go!
The grilling surface is hot and even across the entire grill. You get beautiful grill marks and there are no flare-ups at all. Steaks are easy to cook perfectly with the even heating and they come off looking fantastic.
The side burner has the added bonus of a cast iron griddle which increases the versatility and usefulness of the grill. I doubted if I would use a side burner much at all, but with the griddle, I use it often for veggies, bacon, and even pineapple slices. Now I make the best-equipped burgers in the neighborhood!
This model is only available at Lowes right now. I sold my truck so I chose to have Lowes deliver it and assemble it too. The delivery guys were fast and courteous, but they were in and out before we knew it and on their way. The assembly was poor as I found a bunch of loose screws, the side burner was not mounted at all, and the parts to do so were missing. Luckily I keep an assortment of nuts and bolts, etc. I made a quick fix, but this was annoying.
The cover over the side burner gets very hot when the burner/griddle is on. Be very careful here, it gets hotter than you would think. It would be nicer if there was double surface on this cover to act as a heat shield.
The drip pan is under the grill at the center. This seems ok, but it is very close to the top of the propane tank which means you will probably bump the drip pan into the tank spilling the grease onto your nice clean tank. Good luck.
On the first very humid day after a light misting rain, the thermometer on the cover fogged up. Heating the grill to over 600 degrees doesn't clear out the moisture. It remains wet inside.
Still, I give the grill a Five Star rating. It isn't perfect yet, but I believe the grill is the best out there, easily beating even the Webers. Just be sure to get a model number ending in "15".

Bought this grill at Lowes I almost bought the cheaper model I had a Perfect Flame for 6 years I love this grill cooks great Steaks come out so much better on this grill ten my old one
I have been a huge fan of the TRU-Infrared way of grilling on Char-Briol's full-size grills for years now. I refuse to grill a steak on any other kind of grill. Yes, they are that good. While the grill surface on the Grill2Go is not as sturdy as the new cast-iron overlays of their bigger brothers, it works just as well and is light-weight. I love the ease of removing the regulator/bottle so stowing it in my RV's outer compartment is a snap. I got 4 meals out of a canister of gas - including pre-heat, cook time, and burn-off. Have decided that it is NOT worth getting a larger bottle conversion. Only issue is not knowing exactly when the gas will run out.
We hosted 4 other couples at our campground, made some filet's for them and all have told us they were the best steaks they have ever had. Including restaurants. My secret? Toss some mesquite wood chips right on the grill after preheat and just before putting on the steaks. Other tips: Keep it at full heat. Keep lid open. Flip once after juices appear on top. Remove after juices appear on top again. Easy! Seasoning: Montreal Steak seasoning on all cuts except filet mignon. For filet mignon, use heavy coat of kosher salt and fresh ground pepper.

Gourmet on the go! Well made portable grill.
If you need a easy to handle grill-this one's for you. Two man sized handles on the sides makes this Char-Broil easy to move and a snap to set up or store. Stainless steel grilling grates adds ease of clean-up and improves grilling performance. Carrying case is a must have to store all of the accessories to make this a complete package.
I have been using this cooker for years now and would not go back to the peanut oil. I was in New Orleans when the fried turkeys first became the rage. I could care less for turkey before I learned to cook it the "Cajon" way. I have been asked to cook as a "Celebrity Chef" for the last two years and it has been Cajon seasoned turkey from this cooker both years. The Turkey with my Cajon Potatoes and Gravy has been the hit of the house each time! Before when we first started cooking them in the oil, I could not recover the juices for the gravy; not now, the gravy completes the package!

Love this... Had a heart attack last year and wanted something that would cook a little healthier than what I had been doing. This is a wonderful product. Love the way it cooks and save a ton on oil:)
