I bought my Oil less Turkey fryer before Christmas last year and was so impressed with the performance and taste of the Turkey, beef as well as pork roast's that I bought three more for my sons as Christmas presents. They all have commented to me just how well they work and also the quality of the different meats they have cooked in theirs. Also one of the packages was damaged at the time I bought them. I didn't realize at the time that the damage was enough to lose the handles. When I
... read more discovered them missing I contacted customer support and explained the situation. The representative was very professional and courteous. I received a pair on handles within three days free of charge from Charbroil. I highly recommend Charbroil products to all of my friends and family.

We love it. It is Totally Awesome. We use it for just about everything. I am surprised that it is not advertised more, especially during the Holiday Season. The cooking channel still shows how to use the deep fryer with oil. With this fryer the chance of getting burned is slim. My husband has some gloves that he uses to reach in and get the turkey basket. No burning. We bought one for my brother-in-law and he too uses it frequently.

I have always used oil to Deep Fry a Turkey. 3 years ago I bought The Big Easy and have never deep fried with oil again, it says 16lb. max, however last year I cooked a 20lb. turkey just watch the drip pan it will get full, Love The Big Easy!
I was totally unsure about the whole Tru-infra red technology but I am completely sold on it. I'll likely never own another open flame grill again. I am still learning how to adjust my cooking times and temperatures to use on this grill but I enjoy experimenting with it. It has been useful that I have a handheld infrared thermometer to monitor the actual grill grates so I can gauge how long to sear meat. I also found that the included griddle is decent at making pannini style grilled cheese
... read more sandwiches. You really have to wait for the grill to cool down all the way before you can clean it effectively as you need to pick up the grates to remove any bits left on the emitter. I only wish there were more free online resources available specifically for Infra-red grilling.

Best grille for the price
Love the Truinfrared grilling! No flames just straight heat but be careful, it gets very hot when on high.

after allot of reading, and hands on touching, wife and I decided to try char- broil tru infrared system. its alittle more pricey than the other grills, but if I must say its well worth the money. we have been very pleased with the mouth watering foods this grill has turned out. we have had a range of different types of meat on this grill and haven't been disappointed yet. you get a nice char on the food instead of the burnt taste of many other grills from all the flare ups, no flare ups here,
... read more even the tent covers over the burners have yet to get a drop of grease on them yet. this is truly a amazing grill, and have no problem letting others know this if I see someone shopping for a new grill in stores. the side burner with the griddle great feature, veggies, meats, fruits what ever you like. the only bad thing I can think of with this grill is your stove is going to get jealous.
GREAT JOB CHAR_BROIL 10+
This grill cooks food better than I could imagine. I have grilled steaks, smoked ribs, chickens, turkeys, and all kinds of vegetables. It burns evenly, helps the coals stay hot longer and shows no sign of wear even after a year.

I was wondering can I attach a smoker on this unit and if so where?

You Own the Summer!
I have had this grill for over a year and I love it! You have room for two full racks of ribs or a boatload of chicken and burgers or a celebration of veggies that can cook at their proper temperatures thanks to two levels of grilling or smoking genius!
this little grill packs a punch! it is hot! its fast! i love it! though it does create a lot of smoke when grilling fatty or oily meats, so may not be good for a small patio.

Nice little grill
Love the grill but the value is poor. I bought the hose to hook to a tank and was using it that way; when I left for my RV trip I desided to use the little tanks. The value woulded shut off. I had to go buy a 5lb tank and hook the hose back up so I could shut the gas off at the tank. The value doesn't regulate the flame eityher.

Best grill I have ever owned
I have bought grill for the patio about every 5 years but I have bought one for camping almost every year. Both were complicated to set up and didn't really work that well. The Char-Broil TRU-infrared Grill2Go has taken the place of both. There are a very few parts and they are easily replaceable and with two quick snaps of the buckles, it it ready to go.
i have owned this grill for a couple of years and except for one minor ignitor issue it's been the best grill i have ever owned! No more wasting gas like i did with larger grills. One burner is plenty and its surface is big enough to grill four decent sized steaks. ill admit cleaning is more involved but the cooking rewards are worth it. Unless you have a large group to grill for this is the unit to get!

The good stuff: a) I have owned this grill for 3 years. It cooks more evenly than any other grill I have owned. b) Heats up quickly which saves on gas. c) Great value.
The not so good stuff: a) It is a little hard to control the temp on the low end. b) The electric start died after 1 year, but that has been my experience with other grills. It is easy enough to use a long-nosed lighter through the "match port" or whatever that hole is called. c) I just ordered a replacement cooking grate. I wish
... read more it lasted longer or that it wasn't so expensive, but it is still less expensive than replacing the whole grill. d) If the handle starts to get loose, get out your screw drive right away. Just tighten the screw as soon as you notice it because it is nearly impossible to open the lid when the handle falls off.
I wish it were a little bigger, but I knew the size before buying it, so I can't really include this as a negative item.
I know that I wrote more about the "not so good", but overall, I think this is a good product and would buy it again.

The best compact grill on the market!
I've used this grill almost every day for 2 years now and it is accurate on temp and extremely good at preserving the natural flavor of the meats and veggies I've grilled on it. If you need a compact grill that uses gas, this is the grill for you!
