Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding value for the money Perfect two person grill. Easy to assemble. Lowes had it on sale for $89.95 @ we had a $10.00 off a $50.00 purchase card. Such a deal! NOT a grill for the neighborhood block party or cooking for the stadium but for the small family, it's perfect. We have a cast iron griddle for eggs & bacon. Wire grill for burgers, steak, chicken etc. EASY TO CLEAN, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted a little gas grill for small cooking projects. this grill has exceeded my expectations. i love how quickly it gets hot and how quickly it cools so clean up is a breeze. the cooking area is evenly heated so I can cook more things at once and can enjoy more time with my company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little grill... I had bought one of these about five years ago and it had rusted out (my fault for not buying a grill cover) and it finally gave way when I moved this summer. I saw this on sale at my local Lowe's and had to buy another one. For the money, it's a great little grill and would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good inexpensive grill I have had this grill for several years (since 12-14-01) and have been pleased with the performance. Grilling frequency was once per week year round (live in Florida) until retirement nine years ago which upped it to 2-3 times per week. I now use this grill in conjunction with a Weber grill basket for all of my grilling. Additional tips: 1) Purchase and install "No Flare Squares" to prevent flareups. 2) Set the burner valve(s) on medium heat and do not change it (them). Turn the gas on/off at the tank. This is safer as the regulator diaphragm can leak (it happened to me). Also since the heat is never changed, cooking times can be established for the various meats and fish. 2) Do not preheat the grill as this wastes gas. The cooking times are adjusted so that the first side cooks longer than the second to compensate for the initial heat-up. 3) If you do use the Weber grill basket, do not snap the halves together as the basket wires will embed in the meat/fish. Use oven mitts to grab both halves of the basket for flipping. Since there are only two of us, I only use one side of the grill at a time. Eventually the operating side of the burner will rust out and I will then switch to the other side. This last time, the valve on the to-be-abandoned side would not shut off, so I had to flip the burner to continue using that valve. I will wait until next year to purchase a replacement grill (because of the bad valve) as each burner side lasts about one year (I live in a mildly salty riverfront environment). The grill legs corrode, but they are beefy enough that this has not been a structural problem.

I just bought the 2 burner quickset #463666515 last Sunday and used it once. I tried to use it last night and the gas is on (I can smell it) but when I push the button, nothing happens. I turned everything off, waited, came back still nothing.

Does this unit have a natural gas adapter kit?

No. Grill model # 463666515 can only be used with a twenty pound propane tank. This grill cannot be converted to natural gas.

I can't tell which way to turn the knob to get a low flame

Asked by: runrun262
Turning the control knobs clockwise will decrease the flame and turn it to the lowest setting.

Good Morning, I own a Char-Broil quickset grill, model #463666515. It is approximately 2 years old. Now, you turn the gas on, turn the burner to light, it lights but goes out in approximately 5 seconds. It will go out if you try to turn it to high.

Asked by: Tim Horr
We're sorry to hear this. Has the regulator been reset? If the grill is turned on or off incorrectly it can cause the safety device in the regulator to trip. This will cause a low flow and the regulator will need to be reset. This is an easy procedure that involves unhooking the regulator from the propane tank for a minute and then reattaching and following the lighting instructions on your grill. Make sure that when your grill is turned off that the grill is shut off first and then the propane tank. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.
