The side burner for my model 463211511 emits a yellow, sooty flame instead of the clean blue flame of the main burners.  Is that normal or should I replace it?

When was the last time the side burner was cleaned? Has the propane tank been replaced recently? Both of these variables could be affecting your side burner. How are the other burners performing? Give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 and we will be able to best investigate this.

Are there any other side burners that I can use?  It seems the "brass looking" burners last longer and have a more uniform flame

To best answer this we need the model number for your grill. This model number should be on the rating label, on the back towards the bottom of the grill, and also on the front cover of the product guide. The model number normally begins with 46. Give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information.

This the side burner I currently have.  I was wondering if I could replace it with a differnet one becuase the flame that comes out of my unit now is burning yellow.

If you are having issues with the flame coming out of your burner, make sure to clean out the inside of the burner with a metal pipe cleaner and the portholes (where the flame exits) with a paper clip. Sometimes, the flame will change like that due to an obstruction inside of the burner. If that does not work, please give us a call or create a case with us so that we can ensure you get the correct replacement parts. Customer Service Center: 1-800-241-7548 Create a Case:
