Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything they said it was and more!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased this on Fathers Day and couldn't wait for it to arrive. Assembly was a breeze and couldn't wait to start cooking. Seasoned it like the instructions said to do and then began cooking. Everything I have cooked so far has came out better than I could have imagined. Steaks, chicken, pork chops have come out nice and juicy. Could not believe how much juice the chickens had in them. Even the white meat was juicy. NO FLARE UPS!!!!!!! My wife and family are AMAZED at the quality of the food. Several of our friends are thinking of getting this. Anyone considering this don't hesitate. It is well worth the money spent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Takes some getting used to.... So far it is ok. I overcooked my 1st turkey because I was not used to the temperature settings. 2nd turkey was good! It grills ok. I would recommend a thermometer in the lid and maybe a 2nd wood chip holder opposite the existing one. You have to have it on the highest flame setting to get it to smoke and it does not generate much smoke for flavor. Otherwise it is an excellent product: lights good every time, heats up quickly, cooks evenly. BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE SEASONING DIRECTIONS FOR THE UNIT!!!

Will the big easy be updated to a new version this year , if so what are the expected change ?

I saw a video and now I can't find it on HSN of how to do a new England clambake in the big easy, they did lobster, musseles, corn, potatoes and the whole thing was done in 12 minutes, but what I can't figure out, is what they used to cook it in?
