Rated 2 out of 5 by from truly disappointed I purchased one of your grills many years ago and I loved it. It lasted for 10 years. So I thought I would buy another. After putting the grill together I was impressed at the durability. But I was all but impressed by the performance. I don't like the limited gas flow on the burners. There is not much difference between high and low. My old grill had excellent control of the flow. The other issue I encountered is if it is windy out you have to constantly watch the burners. They tend to blow out. This was not an issue on my previous grill.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from You Get What You Pay For This was my third Char-Broil grill. I really liked this one, but the durability of some of the parts literally left a bad taste in my mouth. After just a few short years the cooking grates have rusted, causing oxidized metal to stick to the food that I am cooking. One of the Heat Tents has disintegrated and the carry over tubes have rusted through as well. The cost to replace the tubes and tents is acceptable, but the grates seem a little too expensive. In short, if you are fine with rebuilding your grill every few years, this one should be suitable for you. I am afraid this will likely be my last Char-Broil product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for price My family and I love our new Char-Broil grill. We haven't used the side burner yet, but have used the actual grill many times. A lot of grills are high priced. This purchase is great for a family that is on a budget and still wants a nice grill.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from FRUSTRATING It seems to be ok. I have not used it as I just put it together. It states that assembly should take 45 minutes, but it took me two and one half hours!!! The manual shows numbers for the parts, but the parts have no numbers on them to go by. There are just pictures showing the assembly and they can be very confusing. Charbroil should and could do a lot better. I just wonder how the grill will perform when putting it together is such a hassle.

Does anyone know the configuration of the nuts that attach the lid to this grill? I took the lid apart and couldn't figure out if both of the nuts(small black & large silver) go on the inside or if one goes on the outside? The manual doesn't show at all

Asked by: aberry
The nuts that hold the screws in place for the lid should go inside of the lid. Please give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 if you have any other questions about attaching the lid and the firebox and we will be able to best assist.
