Traditional 4 Burner Gas Grill is rated 3.8611 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Grill I live in Florida and have grilled dinner 4 days average per week for 30 years. I've owned a lot of gas grilles. This grille with 48,000 BTU and the increased distance between the grates and the burners offers me superb control over my cooking. You still benefit from flareups, but your food doesn't burn. One note to the people complaining about the firebox rusting out. All grills under a thousand dollars do it after several years. Before that happens, expect to replace your burners and possibly your grates. Its the cost of grilling. This is one of the better grills I've owned and the replacement parts are less expensive than the "cheaper" grills.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first choice I have been using this Grill for about a year now. It was my first choice when buying a new Grill. The side burner is very hot and you need to be careful when using it. There are a little difference between the heat in the front and back of the grill when the lit is open. Over all I am very happy with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for steaks! I bought this about a month ago. The 48,000BTU cooking surface puts a good char on steaks. I've also had good luck with pork tenderloins, burgers, and hot dogs. Placement of the potato rack inside the hood makes cooking taller items like beer can chicken awkward. The rack is not easily removed and replaced. Ceramic-coated grates are light weight and clean up easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size. This grill is great for a couple or the whole family. Had this for a month and just love all the features. Side burner is great to use with summer upon us. Don't heat up the house do it outside on the grill. from hot dogs to veggies to filet mignon. It cooks it all.

Does this use lava or other rocks often used with gas grills, or is it just the use of the burners for heat? Thanks!

Asked by: michael502
Lava rocks and other radiants should not be used with this grill. However, wood chips will work well with your grill. Wood chips are easy to use, add tons of flavor and quick to clean up.

What is the difference between the Advantage 4 burner grill and the traditional four burner grill?

Asked by: debbieb
Both are 2015 convection style grills with porcelain cooking grates. The main difference is that model # 463432215 has a larger cooking surface and warming rack.

bought  a Char Broil 480  (mod# 463436215). There are rubber grommets at the 2 front corners of the grill cover. It would seem that these will melt as the grill gets heated. Should they be removed? thanks

Asked by: jdak
The bumpers on the corners of the lid will not melt when the grill is used. Give us a call at 1-800-241-7548 for more information on the grill.
