For the Chorizo Shrimp Kebabs

jumbo shrimp

ears corn, fully-cooked, cut into 2-inch-thick slices

ounces chorizo
For the Seasoning

cup olive oil

tablespoons salt

tablespoons black pepper

Directions

Steakhouse Kebabs:

  1. Preheat grill to 450°F.
  2. Thread meat and vegetables onto each skewer. Brush with olive oil and lightly season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place skewers on grill over direct heat and close lid. Cook each side until beef's internal temperature reaches 145°F to 160°F; this should take about 6 minutes.
  4. Remove from grill.
Hot Tip: The temperature range is according to your desired level of doneness.

Pineapple Chicken Kebabs:

  1. Preheat grill to 350°F.
  2. Thread meat and vegetables onto each skewer. Brush with olive oil and lightly season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place skewers on grill over direct heat and close lid. Cook each side until chicken's internal temperature reaches 165°F; this should take about 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from grill.

Apple Pork Kebabs:

  1. Preheat your grill to 450°F.
  2. Thread meat and vegetables onto each skewer. Brush with olive oil and lightly season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place skewers on grill over direct heat and close lid. Cook until pork's internal temperature reaches 160°F; this should take about 8 minutes.
  4. Remove from grill.

Chorizo Shrimp Kebabs:

  1. Preheat grill to 350°F.
  2. Thread meat and vegetables onto each skewer. Brush with olive oil and lightly season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place kebabs on grill over direct heat and close lid. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side.
  4. Remove from grill.

    We don't eat beef, so we substituted the beef for marinated turkey breast with the pepper and mushroom.

    We have a Char-Broil Big Easy, so we use 23inch skewers loaded as recipe and stand then up vertical in the pre-heatedt drum ( similar to Indian Tandoor cooking) to cook for about 5 mins, check if needed cook a bit longer.

    Lamb Kebab
    Use minced lamb mixed with finely chopped mint plus herbs of choice. Wet hand and mould lamb mince around a flat skewer, out in body of drum and cook 5mins, check, cook longer if required
