cup beef stock

cup picante sauce or salsa

tablespoons tomato paste

teaspoons chili powder

teaspoons dark brown sugar

teaspoon roasted cumin

teaspoon dried minced onion
1/2
teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2
teaspoon red pepper flake
1/2
teaspoon dried minced garlic
1/2
teaspoon ground ancho chile powder
1/4
heaping teaspoon celery salt
1/4
heaping teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4
teaspoon ground coriander
3/4
teaspoon kosher salt (to taste)

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a medium pot.

Hot Tip: If you prefer your chili a little thinner, add ¼ cup of beef stock.

Bring to a simmer over medium low heat and let simmer for 45 minutes, whisking occasionally to break the beef down into smaller parts.

Serve the chili sauce as a side, main dish or heap it onto your hot dogs and burgers for a hearty tailgate spread.
