Ingredients Serves 4
For the filet
filet mignons, about 1.5 inches thick
tips of bacon, thick cut
salt and pepper to taste
spray oil
5-10 Minutes for Prep, 10-12 Minutes for Cook

Preheat your grill to medium high.


Wrap the bacon around the steaks and secure with a wooden toothpick. Do not use plastic toothpicks.


Spray one side of the steak with the oil. Grill the steak oil-side down, for about 4 minutes.


Spray the second side with oil, and flip the steaks. Continue grilling until the internal temperature reaches 130 degrees Fahrenheit for medium rare.


Remove the steaks from the grill. Remove the bacon from the steaks. Tent the steaks with aluminum foil and let them rest.


Meanwhile, return the bacon to the grill and cook until brown and crispy.
