Ingredients

Serves 4
1/4
cup vegetable oil
1
pound crab meat
1 1/2
cups bread crumbs
3
tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/4
cup mayonnaise
1
teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4
teaspoon ground black pepper
1
egg
1
teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

Prep: 15 Minutes, Cook: 15 Minutes
1

Place griddle on top of cool grill grates.

2

Preheat your grill to 500°F, making sure that it is on a level surface.

3

In a bowl, combine the crab meat with half the bread crumbs, parsley, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, pepper, egg and lemon juice. Divide the mixture into 4 equal sized patties.

4

Pour bread crumbs over the crab cake patties and rub so the bread crumbs stick to the top side of the patties. Flip the patties and repeat with more bread crumbs to cover the bottom side.

Hot Tip: Placing the crab cakes in your freezer for 15 minutes prior to cooking will make them firmer and less likely to break apart when turning them over on the griddle.
5

Generously oil your griddle with vegetable oil.

6

Place the crab cakes on your griddle and close the lid. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes per side.

7

Remove the crab cakes from your griddle and serve with our Grilled Vegetable Medley.
