For the Supreme Hot Dogs

all beef hot dogs

ounces cheddar cheese, cut into ¼-in. thick strips

bacon strips

hot dog buns

cup BBQ sauce

cup finely chopped green onions
For the Reuben Hot Dogs

all beef hot dogs
6
slices of pastrami
6
hot dog buns

slices of Swiss cheese

pickles, cut into 6 slices lengthwise

cup mayonnaise
1/3
cup chili sauce
1
tablespoon horseradish
2
teaspoons hot paprika

cup sauerkraut
For the Chili Cheese Dogs

all beef hot dogs
6
hot dog buns

tablespoons olive oil
1
white onion, diced
1 1/2
pounds ground beef
1 1/2
cup ketchup
2
tablespoons chili powder
1
teaspoon black pepper
1/4
teaspoon ground cinnamon

cup shredded cheddar cheese
For the Buffalo-Style Hot Dogs

hot dogs
6
hot dog buns
1/2
cup cayenne hot sauce
1/2
cup ranch dressing
2
celery stalks, finely chopped
2/3
cup crumbled blue cheese

Directions

Supreme Hot Dogs:

  1. Cut each hot dog lengthwise and place a cheese strip into the cut.
  2. Wrap the cheese-stuffed hot dogs in a slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks.
  3. Preheat grill to 350°F, leaving the center burner off for indirect grilling.
  4. Set hot dogs on the center grate of grill, close lid and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Place hot dogs in buns and top with barbecue sauce and green onions.

Reuben Hot Dogs:

  1. Wrap each hot dog in a slice of pastrami and secure with toothpicks.
  2. Preheat grill to 400°F for direct grilling.
  3. Set hot dogs on grill, close lid and cook for 3 – 4 minutes per side.
  4. Combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, horseradish and paprika in a medium-size bowl.
  5. Place cheese, hot dogs and pickles in buns and top with sauerkraut and Russian dressing.

Chili Cheese Dogs:

  1. Preheat grill to 450°F for direct grilling.
  2. Heat cast-iron skillet with olive oil. Add onion and ground beef until lightly browned. Then mix in ketchup, chili powder, pepper and cinnamon until combined. Cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Set hot dogs on grill and cook for 2 – 3 minutes per side.
  4. Place hot dogs in buns and top with chili and cheese.

Buffalo-Style Hot Dogs:

  1. Preheat grill to 450°F for direct grilling.
  2. Combine hot sauce and ranch dressing in a small bowl.
  3. Set hot dogs on grill and cook for 2 – 3 minutes per side.
  4. Place hot dogs in buns and top with buffalo dressing, celery and blue cheese.
