Grilled New York Strip Steak
If you’re craving steak, this Grilled New York Strip Steak recipe is a classic everyone will love. These steaks are grilled over direct high heat to sear and seal in the juices. After grilling, they’re topped with blue cheese butter that melts into the steaks for maximum indulgence.
Coat steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper. Then, set aside.
In a medium-size bowl, combine olive oil and mushrooms. Evenly coat mushrooms with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Place steaks and mushrooms directly on the grill grates. Cook the steaks to a medium-rare internal temperature of 125°F, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
As the mushrooms cook, gently move them around on the cooking grate until grill marks form and they are tender.
Remove both the steaks and mushrooms from the grill and let rest for 3 to 4 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine the butter and blue cheese.
Top the steaks with mushrooms and blue cheese butter. Garnish with parsley.
