Easy Grilled Scallops


Scallops are one of the simplest things to grill and so delicious when done right. It just takes a hot grill, some salt and pepper, and quality scallops.

Serves 3 People
Sea scallops
Sea Salt
Black pepper



Allow the scallops to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. Preheat the grill 10 minutes prior to grilling to 450 degrees.


Place the scallops on the grill for about 90 seconds, then turn 90 degrees to get good cross-hatch marks. Grill another 90 seconds, flip and repeat on the other side.


Remove the scallops from the grill and serve immediately.

    Mixed up a red wine vinaigrette sauce with a little butter and herbs. Adds a bit of flavor without overpowering the scallops.
