These are a heavy lifter when it comes to providing a nutritional boost. Asparagus are a good source of these essential nutrients: folic acid, potassium, fiber, thiamin and vitamins A, B6 and C.

Wash asparagus and dry. Snap off the ends of the stalks at the first spot from the bottom. They should easily break off.

Drizzle asparagus with olive oil. Season with sea salt, fresh ground paper and other seasoning.
Hot Tip: Drizzling with olive oil prior to seasoning will help the seasoning adhere to the asparagus.

Cut a piece of aluminum foil. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer. Then fold the aluminum over so it forms a sealed envelope. This will lock in moisture and flavor.

Grill the asparagus in its foil pouches for about 5-6 minutes over medium-high heat. Turn the pouch over about halfway through your cook.
