Grilled Asparagus in Foil
Grilling asparagus in foil is a fast and easy way to cook this healthy and delicious vegetable. Foil packets hold the secret to successful grilling, preventing the asparagus from falling through the grates and locking in its sweet flavor, moisture and nutritional value.
Wash asparagus and dry. Snap off the ends of the stalks at the first spot from the bottom. They should easily break off.
Drizzle asparagus with olive oil. Season with sea salt, fresh ground paper and other seasoning.
Cut a piece of aluminum foil. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer. Then fold the aluminum over so it forms a sealed envelope. This will lock in moisture and flavor.
Grill the asparagus in its foil pouches for about 5-6 minutes over medium-high heat. Turn the pouch over about halfway through your cook.
